NATIONAL ARTIST DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM SCHOLARSHIP

Good Day Indie, Unsigned or Aspiring Artist,

We understand that as an artist, money for studio time, continuing education, marketing, etc may not always be readily available.  We also don’t feel that lack of financial resources, should stop an artist from sharing their gifts and talents with the world.

That’s why we created the DMV Artist Development Program Scholarship to give a few people an opportunity to win up $9,500.00 in services and products to include one on one with industry mentors, recording studio package, marketing, media & branding package, music/song review our industry professionals who are multiple award winners themselves and more!

After working with iconic rock band & 2017 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees Journey founder/lead guitarist, NEAL SCHON to release his 2012 7th solo record through our marketing efforts with Frontier Records, the album peaked at #16 on the rock charts in the U.S. & 9 in the U.K., one of the best of his over 30-year solo career.

Now ---- here’s your chance to win a spot in a program that teaches the methods we employed to chart on the national & international levels.

That’s right! We’re giving away one (or maybe two) of our coveted spots (and more) in our DMV Artist Development Program -- which so many of you have been waiting each semester!!

• Applications Accepted: Wednesday, 5/3/17, 12:00AM – Friday, 5/12/17, 11:59 PM  

• Contest & Voting: Monday, 5/15/17 – 5/25/16
  
  

HOW TO ENTER & HOPEFULLY WIN:

1. Visit our DMV Artist Development Program tab, read through the information & requirements carefully to ensure you meet them.  If so complete & submit your DMV ADP Application along with the url of your video (professional or home-made).

2. Entries (once selected) will be judged on talent and artistry, songwriting, performance, and style (and votes from your friends and fans don’t hurt!)

3. Be sure to include a brief introduction about yourself and why we should give YOU this scholarship on the application. We are looking for talented artists with drive, determination, and dedication.

PRIZES:

• 1st PLACE: A full scholarship to our DMV Artist Development Program - When do you get an opportunity like this? Your music career will never be the same again. This could be the pivotal moment that changes everything!

• 2nd PLACE: 1/2 scholarship to our DMV Artist Development Program.

  • Payment for the remainder half must be rendered in accordance with our payment schedule.

• Runner Up 1: A review of your music & advice for our agency partners & 4 Skype or in-person sessions with a program mentor.

• Runner Up 2: A review of your music & advice for our agency partners & 4 Skype or in-person sessions with a program mentor.

Votes will help your chances to win!!! They show us that you are serious about your music, willing to promote and work hard, and you know how to rally people’s attention which is all part of being successful. However, that’s not all we look at. While votes can influence our decision, they are not the sole reason we pick our winners. Talent is always the biggest qualifier.
